On July 4th and July 5th, two major earthquakes struck Kern and San Bernardino Counties, followed by hundreds of aftershocks. The epicenter of these earthquakes was located within the borders of Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake causing catastrophic damage to the station’s physical and technological infrastructure.
